Spring has sprung…

Hope everyone had a great Spring Break. The weather has finally turned for the better. There are so many great projects that we can do to celebrate spring. Flower pots or boxes, garden markers, bird baths or houses, cirtonella candle holders. Classes would make a great gift for that special mom or dad, or have your little one hand make their present this year. Parents are saps for that kind of stuff, I know I am.

Pro-tip: If you register online, you don’t need to pay in order to be processed. You can just bring cash or a credit card to class with you.

SPRING BREAK!!!!

Hey folks! Welcome to the new balanced calendar, and two full weeks of Spring Break, woot!! I’m taking the first week off completely, as I think it may be the last year my tweenie son wants to bounce around Indianapolis all week with his mom, then, the second week, I’ll be bouncing around Indianapolis with MY mom (funny how things come around). She’s visiting from Florida. Anywho, no classes during the break, as I’m sure you are all doing fun stuff. Starting up the second week in April, I’ll have a full day of classes offered for Saturdays. Hopefully that will work better with everyone’s schedule. Happy March!!!!

6 months and still going…

Hey, my small business is still afloat. I turned a (small) profit last year, for the 4 months I was in operation, and this year is looking good as well. If you look at the calendar and see a lot of empty slots, it’s because I’m new and still getting the word out. It’s always best to have more than one student, so they can feed off each other’s energy. But if you do sign up for a class, and get to do it solo, we usually get to work on the potter’s wheel (everyone’s favorite) and get to do a project that is personally suited to you or your child’s desires. Spread the word though, and sign up with a friend!

Happy New Year!!

I’m tweaking the class schedule just a bit for the new year. Hopefully everyone that received gift certificates in their stocking finds a class that fits their schedule. If not, feel free to send me an email with an alternate date that works for you. I should have the rest of January’s schedule up by the weekend, and February’s up by the start of the year. Hope everyone had a safe and fun filled snow day!

It’s Fall!!!

Our past two Monday classes have been quite successful, with students anxious to return to make more things. We’ve made some pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, inspired by this lovely fall weather. Monday’s 6 o’clock class is close to being full, and we’ve got some students lined up for the Wednesday and Thursday classes as well. Only a couple of more weeks of making pumpkins and other projects, then, we’ll focus on some themes that will make great gifts in time for the holidays.
